Ever since Jo from CLEO magazine contacted me about featuring Alana & Luke’s wedding in their wedding special I’ve been excited! REALLY excited. So when i finally stumbled across it in the newsagent this afternoon I was all smiles. :D
This is our first ever printed feature, but it won’t be the last! Keep an eye out for us in the next Modern Wedding and Discerning Bride Mags.

No more Anytime Mini Sessions… BUT I just happened to put one aside for a fun little competition - YAY!
So, all you gotta do to enter is:
1.’like’ ngg studios on facebook {click the ‘like’ button at the top of the blog}
2. tell me who you’d have your mini session with and why {eg. my mum because i used her good throws as spray painting drop-sheets so a few extra brownie points would come in handy. - umm, yep. it happened} by leaving a comment on this post.
3. be available on Sunday the 8th August at 4:00 pm!
Aren’t competitions just so exciting! This competition is open to EVERYONE. The winner will be chosen at random and will be notified by email on Friday the 23rd July 2010. Good luck!
Did ya know we have a facebook page? We’re starting to really get into the whole facebook thing so you should come join in the fun at the ngg studios facebook page! You can ‘like’ us thought he button at the top of the blog or check us out HERE.
We’ll likely be keeping this even more up to date than the blog! So… if you wanna know that Brett is cooking me a stir-fry brunch right now - you’d find out there. If you wanted to know that Miss E is going bald from her little pooch jumper - also there. And if you wanted to know about SPECIALS and NEWS - its all on our facebook page FIRST!
So, to start the bandwagon, we’re having another round of Mini Sessions!!! Our last were for Mother’s Day so we had a few people ask if we were doing one for Father’s Day… but we thought what the heck, why not do one for Any Day’s sake. Then you can give it to your mama or your papa or have one with your boyfriend, or your wife {I would LOVE a session with my Brettski and Ella!}, you can have one for your cute little baby pie, or your chuppy {the word we use for children of the four-legged-fluff-ball type}. Anyway you get the drift!
So, here are the details:

And because our facebook buddies knew about it first there are F.O.U.R. TWO NO sessions left! So if you’re interested flick me an email and I’ll put you on the waiting list for next time! :)
When we did the ‘Wonderland’ bridal shoot last month we asked Geoff from Motion Art if he would like to come along and get some behind the scenes footage. Well, i’m SO glad he decided to join us! Apart from being fun to hang out with on the day, he’s just posted the video on his blog and i think its awesome!!!
Thanks Geoff! :P
We had an AMAZING time shooting the promo photos for the launch of our NEW RANGE of extras for e-sessions on Sunday! As you may know the importance of e-sessions is a bit of a biggie for me. There’s nothing better to break the ice or kick start a friendship than an e-session. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever had an e-session where I didn’t walk away feeling like I’ve been blessed to have just made some amazing friends. Which is awesome when it comes time to shoot the wedding!
Plus, I really think your everyday this-is-who-we-are-right-now love story deserves a little merit and preservation, not only your wedding day. After all, fairy tales never begin at “happily ever after”.
So, we’ve been thinking of ways to make your e-session even more fun, even more unique, even more YOU. We’ve been working with our industry faves to create the perfect additions to your e-session. And I think you’re gonna love what we’ve come up with!
The first thing we decided you really want is someone to create your look, to make your photos more personal and about you. So, you own personal stylist working with you leading up to the shoot and on hand throughout the session should fix that! And I wouldn’t recommend anyone but Kristy of Imbue Weddings. Gosh, I love working with her! She has such an amazing ability to complete a story through styling. She has a range of specially designed e-session packages that should suit you perfectly!
Next, is hair and makeup. Nothing completes a look more, or adds an extra dose of ready-for-photos-confidence than gorgeous hair and stunning makeup. For this we have the ever amazing Amanda Higl. Amanda really is one of the most talented and nicest people you could hope to meet. Her hair and makeup packages are affordable and her work truly is inspiring.
Then, just because every girl should always have an excuse for an extra wardrobe addition, why not treat yourself to a little vintage label from Scarlett’s Wardrobe, if that’s your thing!
On Sunday we had the promo shoots, big thanks to everyone involved! We had so much fun working with you all! xo

Sianne and Josh are such a cute couple, so sweet and easy to work with… :)

My adorable sis and Scott…

And I had to add in a few photos of this divine Miss Brown wedding gown from the 70’s.

wow… I think I am a crumbler. Someone who gets overwhelmed when things get chaotic and crumbles into doing the insignificant… the things that don’t matter… things that make you avoid what really NEEDS to be done… this past week I have been a crumbler. And it sucks.
Usually I want to conquer the world and check off my to do list like its a gold medal marathon, but not this week. This week it has felt like I’ve been climbing a growing mountain, only I decided to stop half way to make daisy chains, which would be fine, only the mountain is growing at such a great rate that if I stop for too long, i will NEVER reach the top. Hmmm… maybe that’s a bit of a dramatic analogy… but that’s basically what happened.
So, after much daisy-chain making, I decide the mountain isn’t going to stop growing and I need to start climbing again. Hence, I blog…
