Last Friday we had the great pleasure of photographing Peter and Sarah’s wedding at the beautiful Sirromet winery and Mt. Cotton. This venue would have to make my top 5, I just LOVED it! Rolling hills, vineyards, perfectly manicured grounds, gorgeous architecture and the SWEETEST cellars! Can’t wait for my next wedding there… :)

These guys were a pleasure to work with and Sarah handled the day amazingly considering she is 8 months pregnant!

We met during our first week at high school and for the following 6 years we were inseparable. She was my high school sister, my bestie… We picked the same sports, went to the same camps, got detention together, were banned from sitting next to each other for chatting during every class, planned week long sleep overs, talked on the phone for must have added up to months… the list goes on… we saw each other through EVERYTHING during our teenage years. And now Gem is about to have a BABY!!!! It’s so amazing how fast time flies…:)

Last week we caught up for a tummy session because little Mr. is due to arrive any day now!

So here I was this morning, sipping on my jasmine infused green tea (soooo love it lately), sorting through weddings, just minding my own business… when I stumble across THE most AMAZING site E.V.E.R! (…okay, maybe not E.V.E.R. but its pretty tops!). Check out imeem and I guarantee this bombshell will keep you bopping and humming all day long…

Yesterday we met up with the fabulous Dale and Melissa (who’s wedding we will be covering in April next year) for an engagement session! These guys were on holiday from Mackay so it was the perfect time for a shoot.

I got to try out a few new spots Ive had my eye on… I think everyone, including Brett, thought I was crazy when we rocked up to a couple of them… I had us trekking around a broken down house, by the side of a motorway and, we may have even trespassed a tad wee bit :P But it was so totally *WORTH IT!*

Well, here is a sneaky peek.

You probably wouldn’t guess it, but this shot was taken about 2 meters form a busy motorway.

What beautiful people, outside AND inside… and so in love. I wish I was great at telling stories because their love story is precious. They met in South Africa, where they are both from, then Michelle and her family moved to Australia. Jared couldnt bear to be apart from his darling so he packed up his life and made the big move just to be with his sweetheart! Isn’t that just what movies are made of! These guys really are beautiful people (as you can see in the photos) but they have even more fabulous personalities. Michelle totally reminds me of a classic hollywood starlet, she is so elegant and soft natured. She puts clutsy girls like me to shame… I wish I was more of a ‘lady’… i’ll work on it ;)

These guys got married at gorgeous Mt.  Tamborine, one of my FAVE wedding spots! Everything was held at Cedar Creek Lodges, Thunderbrids Park. Michelle’s STUNNING hair and makeup was done by Bayly Allure and Di’s Hair Deisgn. These guys are seriously talented! Weve run into them at a few weddings at Mt. Tamborine, now as soon as we see them we know we are going to have beautiful girls to photograph.

Steve and Ivana tied the knot last Tuesday with a beautiful, relaxed, intimate ceremony. They flew up from freezing Victoria with their two witnesses for a warm, sunny beach ceremony at Cabarita. I *LOVE* these small weddings! Its almost like couples can just totally give of themselves during the ceremony with less nerves and distractions… they can totally absorb the feelings and emotions as they exchange vows… mmm… so sweet! :) Helen Murray conducted the ceremony which just perfect because she specialises in these smaller weekday weddings and makes it all flow so beautifully.

Ivana  is also 7 months pregnant and she looked just AMAZING!
