And so it begins…Saturday was our official kick off for the second wedding season for 2009! YAY!!!! This wedding season is set to be an absolute beauty, we only have 4 Saturdays available from now until Christmas and there are some GORGEOUS weddings planned in there! So, on Saturday we had a great start to the season (…sounds like we are game hunters…) with David and Melinda’s wedding at Robina Woods. Everything was fabulous and went off without a hitch. Mmmmm… you gotta luv brides and co-ordinators that plan everything with such perfection.

These guys were so great to hang out with all day, really relaxed and down to earth - just the way we like ‘em!

On Tuesday afternoon we met with Brendan & Rebecca for their engagement session and it was RAINY. Rainy, cold, damp and r.a.i.n.y… But Brendan & Rebecca were troopers so we still went with the original outdoor plan,plus an umbrella.

These guys get married next year and their day is going to be B-E-Utiful! Cant wait for it to arrive…

On Sunday afternoon… just after we got Ella, we headed straight out for a shoot. Our cousin Ash is thinking of perusing a career in design/photography when he finishes school next year so we though it would be fun to have a mock shoot with him. Ash was great, for someone that hasn’t had a great deal of experience with an SLR, he has some serious raw talent! Our gorgeous models for the day were Hayley, Alice and Ciann. These gals are all friends of our little bro, Dan so it was a really relaxed, fun sess!

I know there are a few people that have been patiently waiting for me to get this together, so enjoy!

From her lovable personality to her big beautiful eyes, her cute stretches… sweet little sighs… floppy ears… okay. Im in LOVE!

On Sunday when i dragged brett into the pet shop to look at the puppies, like i do every time we go to the shops, someone caught his eye… While I was drooling over the mini dachshunds (because Elyse is getting her own very very soon!) brett was wandering around… trying to look interested, when he spotted HER! She had him at first sight.

If you know me you would know that ever since I left my pooch friendly family abode I have desperately, painfully NEEDED a dog! We (meaning brett) had been contimpaliting for years if we were ready for it. But on Sunday we had a ‘you only live once’ moment so now we have Ella!

She is the most precious, adorable, bundle of joy you could ever meet! My family are total animal lovers so it’s kind of like having a first baby… Elyse has been visiting her ‘niece’ almost every afternoon and the ‘newborn’ photos have been doing the rounds… So I thought i’d show you a few from our family album.
