Last week Brett and I knew we had an engagement session Sunday arvo. When we were planning our weekend it came up as ‘THE’ engagement session. But what we didnt realise is that Brett had booked one, I had booked one, and we both though it was one, until Sunday morning. Thankfully, everything worked out perfectly. We just had a little run back to the car after the first session - which can only be good news for my butt anyway, lol.

So the first session from Sunday arvo was Veronica & Rhett. We are shooting their wedding next month and I can’t hardly wait!!! I will post the second sessi tomorrow. :)

Colin & Bree are such a sweet couple. They got married on their farm at Tumbulgum and it was perfect. As we were doing bridal portraits around their gorgeous home, I couldnt help but picture them in 10…20…40 years from now strolling around with their children/grandchildren.

So, Bree got ready at Outrigger Twin Towns Resort, hair and makeup was styled by Erin Gallienne. Erin did such a stunning job! She is VERY talented and I would totally recommend her to any of our brides.

I have SO much to blog about so i’m just going to throw it all out there at once coz it’s so hot at the studio right now - I really gotta go home to some sweet, sweet air-con. :)

So for starters, here is Michelle & Josh’s sneak peek slideshow from their wedding a few weeks ago.

Because carrying around the big black bricks everyday wouldn’t be much fun, we use the camera in our phone for almost all of our everyday day life photos… like BBq’s/dinners/birthdays/Christmases/handstand comps/Brett drooling over last nights pad Thai… E ripping apart her baby bed… any way you get the picture. So I was flicking through our hundreds of photos from the phone and found some of the cutest pics of Miss E! There were WAY too many to post them all so here are a few of my favies.

As you probably know, yesterday was the first day the new movie from the Twilight saga was released in Aus. - New Moon. So true to my new found twilight nerdiness I had had to see it at soon as possible {as soon as possible without getting out of bed at midnight for the crazy special screening that is}. So yesterday afternoon Brett and I had an extended lunch break and went to the flicks. And it was actually kind of romantic. I think it was only like the 3rd time Brett and I have gone to the movies together, without our crew. :)

As expected the movie was pretty dang great… now i just have to catch up on my reading and conquer the final book! Its kind of a personal milestone for me… the only things I usually have the patience to read are text books, user manuals, blogs and magazines - so this ticks ‘read a book series’ off my life’s ‘to do list’ - SWEEEEEEET!!!

Yesterday arvo we had a lovely maternity session at Tugun. Seriously, this soon-to-be mama was GLOWING. If I could look even 1/2 as amazing as she does when I’m pregas  - I would be stoked. Anyway, due to the usual skin baringness of maternity sessions I can’t show any pics at the moment, but here are a few I got of the most amazing man to grace God’s green earth while I was light scouting…

yeah, he loves being my life-size prop… can’t you just see it in his face. Any one reading this that’s been on a shoot with us, you know what i’m talking about, lol.

It was easy. E-sAAA-A-A-Ay, easy like Sunday mornin’…yeeeee-e-ahhhh… {ok, so my blog singin isnt that great} Let me start again.

It was easy. Easy like an underlying chilled vibe. There was no stressing, no fussing, no worrying - just a warm burst of simple love. When Kelly graced the sandy rose petal aisle of Echo Beach the adoring gazes she exchanged with her awaiting groom were purely heart-tingling. The kind of gazes that - even when your a mere bystander - unknowingly morph your face into a drooling smile. GOSH! I love those moments.

These past few weeks have been crazyness work wise at the studio, so I am beyond record breaking behind with wedding sneak peeks! I HATE being behind, it eats away at me… So, I havent had a chance to quite get onto resizing the blog slideshows yet {if you havent heard, I nearly crashed the blog with them…oops…} and I really just needed to get some sneaks up - so at the moment they are slideshowless. BUT I will have them up as soon as I can. ;) And I also have another sneak peek to go up tomorrow.
